Keka Attendance Companion is an independent Chrome extension that helps users calculate work duration, break time, remaining time, and daily attendance-target progress from information displayed in their signed-in Keka account.
The extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Keka.
The extension processes attendance information displayed on the Keka Attendance Logs page, such as clock-in and clock-out times, to calculate work and break durations.
It also stores extension preferences, including daily work targets, break allowance, and clock format. A temporary attendance snapshot is used to update the extension's timer and toolbar status. A local completion-notification key is used to avoid repeatedly notifying users for the same target.
Information is used only to provide the extension's attendance-tracking features, calculate durations, update the toolbar icon, and display completion notifications.
Extension preferences and the notification-deduplication key are stored in Chrome's local extension storage. The current attendance snapshot is stored in Chrome's session storage.
The extension does not include a developer-operated server or analytics service for transmitting attendance data in the inspected build. Attendance information is processed locally by the extension.
The extension does not sell attendance information or use it for advertising. It does not intentionally share attendance information with third parties.
The extension uses Chrome permissions to store preferences, locate and communicate with Keka tabs, synchronize attendance information, maintain toolbar status, and show completion notifications.
Information remains in browser extension storage and is subject to the user's Chrome profile, browser settings, and device security. Session snapshots are intended for temporary use; local preferences and notification state may remain until changed or removed.
Users can remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing its extension data through Chrome.
This policy may be updated if the extension's functionality or data practices change. The updated policy will be published at the same URL.
